Mr. Miroslav Honzík – a representative of the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade – was a prominent guest at the Slovak roundtable held on 29 September in Bratislava as part of the GreenDeal4Buildings project. The joint roundtable meeting was divided into four parts:
- Promoting sustainable energy investments,
- Participatory financing of building renovation,
- Consumers in the energy market – energy communities and energy poverty, and
- Innovations in construction for the European Green Deal – financing development and implementation.
There was an interesting and stimulating discussion on the individual proposed measures, which resulted in the initiation of closer cooperation between the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency. The mutual cooperation should lead to a greater sharing of experience between the Czech Republic and Slovakia and also to improved support for financing energy-saving projects.
